Evidence Stream was born from real-world frustration with generic case management tools that don't understand the unique challenges of family law practice.
Our Story
During a high-conflict custody case involving allegations of parental alienation and emotional abuse, our founder faced a critical challenge: hundreds of text messages, emails, and voice recordings spread across 18 months, each individually minor, but collectively painting a clear pattern.
Generic case management platforms offered no help. They could store documents, but they couldn't:
After manually organizing evidence in spreadsheets, creating paper timelines, and spending dozens of billable hours on tasks software should handle, a realization hit: No platform exists for family law evidence management.
So we built one.
Mission
Family law cases often involve the most vulnerable: children experiencing abuse, neglect, or parental conflict. Better evidence management means better case outcomes, which means better protection for children.
We will never become a generic "all practice areas" platform. Family law has unique needs that deserve dedicated solutions. We'd rather be the best at one thing than mediocre at everything.
Evidence management shouldn't cost $100+/user/month. Solo practitioners and small firms deserve enterprise-grade tools at prices that make sense for family law economics.
Philosophy
In contentious custody battles, evidence authenticity is often questioned. We use immutable storage, cryptographic hashing, and complete chain of custody because your client's credibility depends on proving evidence hasn't been tampered with.
We don't use AI because it's trendy. We use it because pattern detection across 200 text messages is impossible for humans to do quickly, and semantic search finds "financial abuse" even when that exact phrase isn't used. AI solves real problems, or we don't use it.
Every feature is designed by attorneys who practice family law. We understand parental alienation, the "Evidence Strategies" methodology, DHS investigation standards, and GAL reporting requirements because we've lived it.
No hidden fees. No surprise charges. No "contact for pricing" games. You're a solo practitioner? Here's the price. You're a 20-attorney firm? Here's the price. Transparent pricing builds trust.
Cancel anytime, export everything. Your evidence, your client data, your chain of custody records— all portable, all exportable. We work for you, not the other way around.
Differentiation
We're a family law evidence platform. Every feature, every design decision, every pricing choice is made with one question: "Does this serve family law attorneys better?" If the answer is no, we don't build it.
Corporate law, criminal defense, personal injury—all valuable practice areas, and all served by existing platforms. We focus exclusively on family law because it's underserved and because we know it intimately.
Our roadmap comes from you. Pattern detection for parental alienation? Requested by attorneys. Multi-stakeholder access without per-user fees? Requested by attorneys. Evidence admissibility tagging? Requested by attorneys.
Family law isn't corporate litigation with million-dollar budgets. Retainers are often $5,000-15,000. Software shouldn't eat 10% of that. We price for the reality of family law practice.
Future
We're building Evidence Stream in phases, focusing on core evidence management first, then expanding to advanced features as the platform matures.
Your input shapes our roadmap. If you're using Evidence Stream and have feature requests, we want to hear them. Family law attorneys know what they need better than anyone.
Whether you're a solo practitioner or a 50-attorney firm, Evidence Stream is built for you. Start your free trial and see the difference family law specialization makes.
